Policeauctions.com Reviews – Anyone Have Any Complaints?
The Policeauctions.com review shows that this is an
auction website that offers for the most part a large majority of jewelry for auction. Although it seems if you go
solely by the name that this would be a website that offers municipal surplus type auctions it is not. While there
appears to be deals on this site, a more popular choice by many is using a service like Auctionresource.org for finding good deals online.
About Policeauctions.com
The website name may be deceptive but there is a
disclaimer that clearly states that they are not affiliated with any municipal agency. There are also a lot of
links to information sites on the landing page.
Policeauctions.com Reviews -
Criticism
There are a lot of complaints about this site that
range from the quality of the merchandise to a lack of customer service and everything in between. Many consumers
have found that the items that they won while valued at one price on the site appraisals reveal very different
values.
This of course leaves quite a few people holding the
bag with merchandise that they “won” and seriously overpaid for. Normally reading reviews is not the only
source of information you should use when you are deciding whether to use an auction site or not. In this case,
there are some good and some bad responses.
Policeauctions Review - Inventory
The reviews are right on
when it comes to the type of inventory that is up for grabs. The majority of the items are in fact
jewelry with somewhat inflated values attached to them. There really are not any big surprises on
this site when it comes to what is coming up on the auction block.
There are some categories that are listed for art collectors and coins
but they had so few items listed it really made you wonder why they even used the
categories. |

There are a lot of auction websites that are actual
opportunities to win great items that are not necessarily jewelry. There are some complaints floating around about
this website that really throws up some red flags, however there are also some good reviews.
FAQ
In the frequently asked questions I found a question that addressed membership. What
I found is that the membership is free but the free membership is a limited membership and only allows you in
certain areas.
The Policeauctions.com review shows that they never actually hold the government
auctions they simply send you a list of the auction being held in your area (if there are any auctions in your
area) for your membership fee.
I feel duped because of the name of the site which
gives you the feeling that you are using some sort of police endorsed site but it appears you are not. I called the
toll free number no one answered in their defense though it was after normal business hours.

Overall, the Policeauctions reviews show this to be a
legit site and not a scam with a handful of complaints, however most people prefer using a service like Auctionresource.org for finding deals online.
