Bid4Assets Reviews – Is Bid4assets.com a Scam?

The Bid4Assests reviews show that this is an online auction site that auctions primarily real estate. The main attraction on this site is below value real estate with many of the properties located in economically depressed areas. While the reviews show that there are deals to be had at this site, a more popular choice seems to be using a service like Auctionresource.org for finding good deals on real estate online.

About Bid4assets.com

Bid4Assets.com bills itself as the “real estate auction marketplace”.  I was excited to check out what was available. I was a little disappointed about the inventory in my area. Truth be told they had 3 properties listed in my state none of which I would bid on or buy. They were little more than shacks.

This site is supposed to be a site that offers real property, jewelry and other high end goods on the auction block. Some of the real property was a disappointment but it outshone the jewelry category in particular the “bracelet”category which contained one bracelet that looked a bit questionable.

Bid4assets Reviews - What Is the Site About?

After spending a bit of time perusing the inventory or the lack thereof it came to light that this was sort of a shell. The website Bid4Assets.com was more about selling information than it was about auctioning anything off. It also seemed like it was all about collecting information.

I went to the vehicle categories and was able to find two vehicles up on the block, a big 2 ton truck that was white and a big 2 ton truck that was yellow. There were no cars or motorcycles or vans or anything that had wheels and a motor.

You do have to provide a deposit to participate in most of the auctions. There are some fees associated with winning that have to be paid as well. The contact information is comprehensive and it includes a phone number and email options.

Bid4assetts.com Review - Buyer Beware

While the website does a good job of telling bidders at every auction that they are assuming all risks associated with purchasing the property it can be easy to get caught up in all the excitement. I saw a winning bid of $4500 for a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house in Detroit. Of course the house was very run down in a not so great part of Detroit where the economy is extremely depressed but it was still only a $3500 investment. The point is keep your goals clear and in sight when you are getting ready to place your bids.

Do as much research as you can about the property. It is easy enough to call the local county court house where the property is located and to ask if there are any liens or other issues that would keep the title from being free and clear.

Overall, the Bid4assets reviews show this to be a legit site and not a scam with not too many complaints out there, however most people still prefer using a service like Auctionresource.org for finding good deals online.
